Goraiko (Sunrise on Mt. Fuji)
Experienced a beautiful sunrise this past Tuesday, July 12th on our 2 day Mt. Fuji tour. Hiked throughout the night to reach the summit of Mt. Fuji and enjoyed clear skies witha view extending out to Tokyo! Check out the video below to see the goraiko!

First tour of 2011 season
Our first 1 day tour of the 2011 Mt. Fuji climbing season was a great success! We all made it to the summit safe and sound, enjoyed watching the famous sunrise atop Mt. Fuji and ended the tour soaking in a nearby hot springs. Here are a few pics from the summit and the long road down Mt. Fuji.

Mt. Fuji Kawaguchi-ko 5th station
Fuji Mountain Guides first tour of the season is coming up in just a few days. The trail we ordinarily use (Subashiri) is still unpassable due to snow, therefore we will be using the Yoshida trail on our first tour this Thursday. Here are some pictures of Mt. Below are the new discounts for the 1 day and 2 day Mt. Fuji tours starting out of Gotenba or starting/ending at the base of Mt. Fuji.
1 Day Mt. Fuji Tour:
Starting in Gotenba: ¥1,500 discount; Starting at the base of Mt. Fuji (Subashiri 5th station): ¥2,000 discount
2 Day Mt. Fuji Tour:
Starting in Gotenba: ¥2,500 discount; Starting at the base of Mt. Fuji (Subashiri 5th station): ¥3,000 discount; Ending at the base of Mt. Fuji (Kawaguchi-ko 5th station): ¥3,000 discount

Children Discount
There is now a ¥3,000 JPY discount for children who join the 2 day Mt. Fuji tour! Children under the age of 9 are not recommended to embark on a climb up Mt. Fuji. Discount is applied up to children 12 and under.
